This facility allows you to enquire and edit on individual inward movements, these movements having been created in the Inward Docket process. An Inward Movement can be created manually in this program but would need to be linked to an Inward Docket by use of the search facility in that program.

Notes about the fields displayed follows;
Movement No A sequential unique number that identifies the movement.
Type The type of movement. Usually this will be “In” to denote an inward movement. The other option is “Adjustment”.
Date The date of the movement.
Inward Docket The identifying number of the Inward Docket to which this movement is linked.
Customer The customer who owns the products.
Product The product being moved.
Reference If a reference was entered on the item of the Inward Docket this will be shown here.
Expiry Date If an Expiry Date was entered on the item of the Inward Docket this will be shown here.
Unique Product If the Put Away rules demanded that the movement only be stored in a location which only stores this product, this field will be set to True.
Unique Reference If the Put Away rules demanded that the movement only be stored in a location which only stores products with this reference, this field will be set to True.
Location This is the location that has been allocated to this movement.
Inward Quantity This is the total inward quantity of the movement
Inward Pallets This is the total inward pallet count of the movement
Inward Volume This is the total inward volume expressed in cubic metres of the movement.
Inward Weight This is the total inward weight expressed in tonnes of the movement.
Remaining Quantity This is the quantity that remains available to satisfy outward orders.
Remaining Pallets This is the pallet count that remains available to satisfy outward orders.
Remaining Volume This is the volume that remains available to satisfy outward orders.
Remaining Weight This is the weight that remains available to satisfy outward orders.
Status This illustrates the process of the movement. Valid values and meanings are;
- Booked The movement has been created
- On Site The movement is for product that has been unloaded and is in the location linked to the On Site Status.
- Allocated Has been allocated to a store person for put away.
- Completed Has been put away.
Date Completed The date the status changed to Completed which is when the goods were placed into storage.
Closed This will be set to True when all product on this movement have been moved out of storage. This means this movement no longer contributes to stock on hand calculations. This field is set to True automatically by TLP.
Storage Complete Once a movement has been closed and the final storage has been charged the system will set this flag to True, meaning it will no longer feature in future storage charge calculations.
Pick Orders The system displays a list of all Pick Orders linked to the movement. The user can view the details of any Pick Order by clicking on the blue edit / view button to the right of the line. This will display the Pick Order line (shown below). If the user wishes to see more details on the Outward Order they can click on the Order field (order 20 in the screen shot below) and display the entire order. The Order details are described in detail in the section headed Outwards Order.
