Bar Codes

The Bar Codes schema is used to store bar codes relating to products and quantities of those products. This structure is in place to allow multiple bar codes against a product. Any bar code read by the system will read a record from this schema, which will establish the validity of that record. From this the appropriate product will be displayed and quantity for the transaction set as per the Quantity stored against the bar code. If no quantity is recorded against the bar code the system will set the transaction quantity to one.
