Products

The recording of product details, both generic and customer specific, is carried out through the Product Administration facility. There are two main tabs within this facility, these being;

Units and Conversions: This is the base product details and is required for all items.

Dangerous Goods: This tab contains fields which are only required if the product is a dangerous goods type.

Code The Code is the unique identifier for the record and is created automatically by TLP. The code is a combination of the Product Code and the Customer and is expressed in the format Product Code (Customer).

Customer If the product belongs to a specific customer that customers code should be entered here. If the product is generic leave this field blank.

Product Code This is the code that identifies the particular product.

Description The description of the product that is to be used in jobs and in product reporting.

Item Type This is the packing type for this item (eg: pallet, carton etc).

Qty per Pallet The quantity of this product that will comprise one pallet.

Qty per Lift The quantity of this product that will comprise one lift.

Qty per Space The quantity of this product that will comprise one space.
