As suggested by the name this enquiry provides the ability to view stock on hand data and have that presented on a location basis. The key to its use is to understand and use the search filters that have been supplied.
Search View
The standard search view once launched is set up to show all movements that are still in stock and that came into stock before or at today. But the search can be enhanced to answer specific questions. A guide to how this can be done is listed below.
![]()
It is easiest to build searches that look for a wide body of data and then narrow this down. To illustrate this;
With the data we have on our test system we have five Inward Movements in stock, these being shown below;
![]()
Then by entering a warehouse of “Chilled” in the search we reduce the list to being only from the Chilled Warehouse. Further reductions in the list can be obtained by entering Customer or Product details. In this example we eventually limit viewing down to one inward movement.

The totals at the bottom of the grid are the totals for the products that were displayed.
Detail View
The lines shown are of product in a location. It is possible to drill down to gain further information about the product, this being displayed on a detail view as shown below.
![]()
This view provides full details of the product moved to that location and how much of that product remains.
