Products Item Types

TLP is provided with a table of Item Types set up for your use so there is no requirement to alter this. If you wish to add additional Item Types then this can be done through this facility.

Item Type The code for the particular item type.

Description A description of the item type.

Equals Quantity This field relates the item type to a standard unit. It should be read in conjunction with the Standard Unit field. Therefore in the screen shot above the item type of Tonne equals 1 standard unit of weight.

Standard Unit This is the prime statistic (eg: weight, each, pallet etc) of the system.

Expression This field allows you to set a relationship should the previous fields prove to be insufficient
