Logging In

Access to the TLP System is through a URL that you will have been provided. This URL will open up TLP and bring you to the position where you may log in to the system. This is done by entering the login code and password you have been provided into the login fields as shown below.

Once logged in you can carry out functions as determined by your menu and permissions. When entering the system for the first time it is recommended that you change your password to one that only you will know before proceeding with any other task.

Changing Your Password

You can change your password at any time by accessing the facility by clicking the button displayed at the top right corner of your screen.

Clicking on the correct button will open up the facility to change your password. You must know your old password and enter a new password and then confirm this.

Quicksearch

The Quicksearch facility is designed to allow you to go directly to a specific record within TLP, without having to navigate through the menu system. The particular Quicksearchs that are available to you are governed by your IT staff but a likely to include items such as jobs and manifests. To select a particular search click on the arrow down symbol on the button.

This will display a list of options as shown above. To execute a Quicksearch click on the appropriate option and then enter the value you wish to search for.

For example  clicking on Client Job Entry enables me to enter a job number which is then displayed immediately.
