The Driver table is used to store details of all personnel resources. The various types of personnel resources are;

Contracts An employee who works on Jobs within the Contract module.

Driver A company employed driver of a vehicle used in the Transport module.

Subby A sub-contractor who drives a vehicle used in the Transport module.

Supplier An external organisation from which purchases are made.

Workshop An employee who works on jobs within the Workshop module.

There are three tabs on the Driver administration screen.

Drivers Base details for all employees and specific details for Drivers and Subbys.

Costing Costing details required for Workshop and Contracts

Contact Contact data of use for all types of employee.

This tab records data that is required for the processing of time sheets (Fleet and Contracts) and Supplier purchases.

Contact Tab

A list of contacts can be applied against the Driver record. For Sub-Contractors and Suppliers multiple contacts could be applicable.
